Google Cloud Asia Pacific managing director Rick Harshman says, “We see demand (more than triple since last year) from local end-users (for G Suite), enterprises, and startups (including unicorns). Google is continuing to build its local partner ecosystem to support customers as they move to the cloud and already has deep partnerships with a multitude of born-in-the-cloud partners in the region.

“Google has had a long-standing commitment to Indonesia and continues to hire locally in order to provide support to the rapidly growing number of customers in Indonesia,” explains Google Cloud head of Southeast Asia Tim Synan.

“Google is investing in programmes to help Indonesian startups scale their businesses globally and providing digital skilling classes to help small businesses get online and find new customers. With these investments we want to help Indonesia become a digital powerhouse in SEA.”
